What is Virgin Hair?

Virgin hair refers to human hair that remains completely unprocessed, having never undergone any form of chemical treatment or alteration. It is typically collected from a single donor, ensuring the cuticles remain intact and undamaged. With proper maintenance, virgin hair can maintain its quality and longevity for approximately one to two years

What is RAW Hair?

Raw hair represents the highest grade of human hair available. It is entirely unprocessed—free from chemicals, coloring, steam processing, or any form of alteration—preserving its 100% natural texture exactly as it grows from the donor. Typically sourced from regions such as Cambodia, Vietnam, and India, raw hair is known for its exceptionally thick, full strands from root to tip. Its purity and rarity make it one of the most sought-after and premium hair types on the market.

What is the difference between a HD Frontal Wig and HD Closure Wig and what size lace do I choose?

The term HD stands for High Definition. At Ace London Hair, we exclusively provide HD lace, which is the thinnest and most undetectable lace available, offering an exceptionally natural and seamless appearance.

A Frontal Wig is available in sizes 13x4 or 13x6. These measurements indicate that the lace extends from ear to ear, providing full frontal coverage. The 13x6 option offers an additional two inches of parting space, making it ideal for clients with lower hairlines or those who prefer deeper parting versatility. All of our wigs are custom-made using HD lace combined with premium bundles. For a full, voluminous look, we use a minimum of 3–4 bundles, while 5 or more bundles are recommended for longer lengths or maximum fullness.

We offer a range of lace sizes to accommodate different preferences. Our HD Closure Wigs are crafted using 5x5 closures, while our HD Frontal Wigs are made with 13x4 frontals unless a 13x6 is specifically requested. Clients seeking a wider closure option may prefer the 6x6 closure for increased parting space and styling flexibility.


How long will it take to make my Custom Wig?

Once your order has been successfully placed, please allow up to 10-14 days for your custom wig to be made, plus an additional 24 hours for order processing. To avoid any delays, we recommend placing your order well in advance of holidays or any upcoming events.

How long will my Wig last?

Wigs are an investment, and with proper care, a high-quality wig can last up to 2-5 years or more.

How do I maintain my Wig?

What Cap Size do I choose for my Wig?

To select the correct cap size, measure the circumference of your head by placing a tape measure around your hairline and following it around the nape of your neck. Ensure the tape sits flat and is positioned correctly for an accurate measurement.

Our standard cap sizes are:

  • Small: 21" – 21.5"

  • Medium: 22" – 22.5"

  • Large: 23" – 23.5"

Please measure your head carefully to determine the most suitable cap size for your wig.

Can I return my Wig if it doesn’t fit?

Unfortunately no; all wigs are FINAL SALE. Due to the nature of the product as well as being custom made. Please ensure the Circumference & Front to Nape measurements are accurate. If you need assistance please book a virtual appointment where we can guide you. In the unlikely event that we have been given the wrong measurements by you this cannot be reversed or refunded however we can re-make your wig with the new measurements at an additional charge.

Do you offer a Colouring Service?

Yes we do, although only for For Ace London Hair wigs. For colouring service please ensure you are not allergic to bleach and hair colouring; we will not be liable for any unforeseen circumstances.
